Captain Mac has been an avid fisherman since he was a very young lad. His dedication to the sport has lead him to fish some of the finest bodies of water in the US and Canada. His travels do not stop there. Captain Mac has also fished the reefs in Japan, Brazil and has even enjoyed some trout fishing in Ireland.

Having spent time in 26 different countries traveling the world with fishing pole in hand, has allowed Captain Mac to gain valuable experience in the fishing industry.

With Pennsylvania being his home state he has fished the waters of Lake Erie for more than 40 years. Although catching fish is still a great pleasure and each catch is as exciting as the first fish he caught, Captain Mac’s greatest pleasure is sharing the joy of fishing the Great Lakes with others.

Captain Mac loves fishing and sharing the joy with other so much he decided to acquire his USCG license and launch his own charter business and M&M Fishing Charters emerged. After spending 4 seasons in the Ashtabula Ohio area, M & M Charters relocated to its current location in Erie Pennsylvania. 

 The move turned out to be not only a good one, but it opened doors for Captain Mac to be able to give back to the community and state where he learned to fish! Captain Mac currently volunteers his charter services to provide the Big Brother and Big Sisters of Erie, PA children an annual fishing day.
